WHERE REFINED LUXURY AND COASTAL ELEGANCE MEET
“ONE is not just a home, but a lifestyle statement that epitomises the very best of luxury beachside living. Material, finish and colour selection have played a key role in how we have brought the ocean’s calmness inside every residence and every space, tying you back to nature.”
Taj Mahal was used in the main areas such as the Kitchen. This stone had earthy warm tones, and we found it was the perfect fit for this project. Not only are the stones hues a perfect match for the space, but the functional qualities of this stone are incredible as it’s a quartzite which make all the working spaces extremely durable.
Travertine, a natural stone with a sandy-hued texture, was an excellent choice for integrating the opulence of interior design with the natural beauty of coastal surroundings. Gold accents create a striking contrast against the natural, earthy tones of travertine. This combination elevates the overall aesthetic, adding a touch of glamour and sophistication to the space.
“We chose to articulate the building with a motif of fine lines as a reference to the local fauna of the Norfolk Pine. We can see this express in our concrete facade elements which mimic the elegant contemporary interpretation of this coastal landscape.”
Taking cues from the organic palette of its environment, natural stone finishes, concrete and contemporary glazing is complemented and balanced by cascading tropical landscaping to curate a striking facade from every angle. One BUrleigh standards as a modern reinterpretation of the classic beach house. Elevated to offer expansive views and luxurious living spaces, the spacious, open configurations capture the spectacular ocean views while facilitating Queensland’s enviable outdoor lifestyle.
The organising geometry of the needles and cones inspired the architectural expression of the facade, which is most easily understood from the beach side, where the building addresses the trees directly. These geometries are reflected in the planning of the homes and then more subtly throughout the ensure design.
